    Species Description - Extensively colonial; stoloniform offshoots fleshy, appearing laterally on the stem just below the lvs; scape filiform, 4–10 cm; tep 4–6, pink, 10–15 mm; largely sterile; 2n=44. Rich woods, often on north slopes; se. Minn. Apr., May.
