Discussion
Tree to 4 m, the young leaves with ferruginous-coppery tomentum on both surfaces, the mature leaves drooping, subrevolute, stiffly coriaceous, dark green on the upper, and dull green covered with dark brown tomentum on the lower surface; the second collections were made at an altitude from 1800 to 2300 m.
