Description
Latin Diagnosis - A var rosea f rosea bracteis involucralibus extimis ubique omnino glabris recedit; bracteis ceteris plerumque glabris vel glabrescentibus.

Discussion
This form differs from typical P. rosea in having the outermost bracts of the involucre glabrous throughout on both sides, and in the generally glabrous or glabrescent nature of the remainder of the bracts within a head.
