Discussion
According to the labels of the collections thus far examined, this is a shrub like P. crassa Bth. It differs from the latter in the shorter, triangular, less tapering calyx lobes, which are ciliolate at the apex and on the margins, the absence of dorsal corniculate appendages of the corolla lobes, and much more strongly nerved leaf blades with elevated lateral nerves benath.
