Description
Species Description - Colonial, 1.5–2 m from long stout rhizomes; lvs 1–2 cm wide; infl pure silky-white, the basal hairs ca twice as long as the glumes; lemmas awnless; 2n=38–95. Native of e. Asia, cult. for ornament and occasionally escaped.
