This brief review has required the examination of two sheets of Ducke’s Renggeria longipes (two isotypes, Ducke 1632 S, NY). They by virtue of the unique umbraculiform androecium place the clear-cut species in the genus Quapoya.

An additional record for it is now at hand, Schultes & Cabrera 15170, Fig 45, A-D, which extends the range of this interesting species northward to the Rio Apaporis in Colombia.
