    Tetramerista montana Hallier f., Bot. Centralbl. Beib. 34(2): 39. 1916. Type. Hallier B2425, 25 Feb 1894, W. Borneo (“Hb. Bog. U. L.-B.”).

    Type. Not designated.

In a review of a series of collections of Tetramerista to which the three indicated names have been variously applied, we find no morphologic evidence correlative to either geography or ecology which would uphold any disposition of the specimens observed into three categories, specific or otherwise. For the purposes of this paper I am required to treat the Malaysian population as representative of the single species T. glabra.
