Discussion:

Type. Neogleasonia wurdackii Maguire.

Neogleasonia, with three species, is obviously related to Neblinaria, tied with it by parallel-veined leaves and papillose-fimbriate stigmas. Regrettably, Neogleasonia multinervia and N. duidae are both known only by the type collections. Neogleasonia wurdackii firmly establishes the genus.
