Type. Tree 20-35 ft tall, leaves not clustered at tips so prominently as in B. roraimae, but flowers only slightly larger, petals white with pink tinge, Carrao-tepuí (Ptari-tepuí), lower southeastern slopes at 1700-2000 m alt, Edo.
