  • Discussion

Type. Roraima [Venezuela], Robert Schomburgk 876 (K).

This handsome small tree has been adequately characterized by Kobuski (198). The more plentiful collections now available show a somewhat greater amplitude of measurements as indicated in the above key. Distribution and ecology of the species are also now better known, for which reason a fuller citation of collections is provided.
