Description:Distribution and Ecology - Distribution. Endemic to the Guayana Highland in the Venezuelan states of Amazonas and Bolívar. Relatively frequent in savannas at altitude of 1300-2000 m. VENEZUELA. Discussion:

The specimens cited above mark a considerable range extension of this species, which has hitherto been known only from Auyan-tepui.
