Discussion
A tree of low altitudes in Guayana, extending eastward in Guiana at least to the Wilhelmina Gebergte in Suriname. The Amapa material, lacking flowers and fruit, can only be provisionally determined. In the Wilhelmina region this is the commonest of forest legumes, especially in the riverine habitat, but ascending mountain slopes to ca. 750 m.
