    Distribution and Ecology - A slender small tree usually to 15 m, the slender branchlets bearing opposite, caudate-acuminate, grayed green leaves, occurring in the Guianas and in Venezuela in the Delta Amacuro area.VENEZUELA. Delta Amacuro: Sierra Imataca, upstream from San Victor, past Quebrada Piedradero and Rio Matanaima, Julian A. Steyermark 87206 (fl. NY).
