    Distribution and Ecology - BRITISH GUIANA. Pakaraima Mts., Kamarang River-Wenamu Trail, along "Wenamu Trail, 900 m alt., rare epiphyte on mossy rock, leaves fleshy, in one plane, flowers pink, fruit ovoid, green, November 11, 1951, B. Maguire & D. B. Fanshawe 32578 (no flower seen). COLOMBIA. Vaupes: Along Rio Kuduvari, near Mitú, on trees in area flooded bv 10 ft of water, August 12, 1960, L. A. Garay 83. VENEZUELA. Bolivar: About 100 km south of El Dorado, about 460 m alt., in d a m p forest and near base of Angel Falls, G. C. K. Dunsterville 424; Cerro Guaiquinima Rio Paragua, at woodland camp in slope rain forest, 1200 m alt., epiphyte, fruit glabrous, December 27, 1951, B. Maguire 32770 (no flower seen); Chimanta Massif, along Rio Tirica (Rio Apuraren), just above Techinemerú, 470 m alt., epiphyte on branch, archiiig-recurved, fruiting, January 16, 1955. J. A. Steyermark & J. J. Wurdack 109 (no flower seen): on top of low pass over summit of Sierra de Lema, lat. 6º 5' N.. long. 62" W., 700 m alt., epiphyte on tree in wet forest. leaACs deep green on both sides, subcoriaceous, August 22, 1961, J. A. Steyermark 89428. Central America (NICARAGUA, type of D. trulla) and PANAMA (type of D. Powellii), BRAZIL and probably BOLIVIA.
