Description
Species Description - Widespread in interior w. U.S. and barely enters our range in Clay Co., Minn. It differs from S. patens in its short, broader spikes closely appressed to the often flexuous stem, and in the more copiously and conspicuously long-hispid keels of the glumes and lemmas.
