Description
Distribution and Ecology - VENEZUELA. Bolivar: Ptari-tepui, on lower south-facing slopes between Rio Karuai and the first ridge above Rio Karuai, 1220 m alt., pendent epiphyte at the base of tree trunk, J. A. Steyermark 60692 (no flowers seen). The West Indies (type of Cymbidium muricatum), MEXICO and Central America, TRINIDAD, COLOMBIA, ECUADOR and BRAZIL.
