Bolivar: Chimanta Massif, on lower northwestern slopes of Abdcapa-tepui, 420 m alt., in vicinity of Camp I along Rio Abacapa. pendent epiphyte from branch in rich rain forest, leaves thich flesh) and coriaceous, 9 cm long and 4 cm wide, flowers fragrant, sepals, petals and column pale green, lip greenish white with descending apex, March 30-31, 1953, J. A. Steyermark 74770. BRITISH GUIANA (type of N. Amesii) and PERU (type of N, conduplicans).
