    Distribution and Ecology - VENEZUELA. Amazonas: Along Rio Orinoco, just above Tamá-Tamá, 150 m alt., epiphyte, flowers yellow heavily spotted with red-brown, lip pure yellow at the apex, June 21, 1959, J. J. Wurdack & L. S. Adderley 43105. BRITISH GUIANA, BRAZIL, PERU and BOLIVIA. The type was noted as from "Guayana."
