Description:Distribution and Ecology - VENEZUELA. Bolivar: A lo largo del camino al Sur de El Dorado, vecindades del Km 123, 1000 m alt., epiphyte, pseudobulbs compressed, mustard-yellow, leaves coriaceous, dull green above and paler beneath, flower erect, tawnybuff and darker at tips of segments. Dunsterville 92179; bosque enano a lo largo del afluente Este del Rio Venamo, sobre el hombrillo superior del cerro, 1400 m alt., epiphyte on branch of tree along main stream of quebrada, leaves coriaceous, deep green above and gravish or dull green beneath, bracts of scape dull brick-red, sepals brownish maroon or fulvous yellow, petals yellowish with brick-maroon tips, lip yellow with maroon near apex, January 3, 1964, Steyermark & Dunsterville 92682.
