Base Camp, frequent epiphyte on strand trees, "perianth yellowish backed with pink; lip with red brown spot; January 16-19, 1952, B. Maguire 33130; Sarven-tepui, 1250-1500 m alt., in rain forest between Camps 3 and 4, epiphyte on tree trunk, "Tepals yellow, red-flushed outside; lip cream with maroon spot on back apically," January 8, 1953, J.
