(The aforesaid records are from Cogn., Martius Fl. Bras. 3 (5) : 413. 1902); at a distance from loAver Rio Atacavi, E. Foldats 3841 and from lower region of Rio Atacavi, Foldats 3S41a; Upper Rio Orinoco (Muñoz), G. C. A. Dunstewille 207; Isla del Raton, Rio Orinoco, Pittier s.n.; along Caño Tamá-Tamá (a black-water caño on right bank of Rio Orinoco just above Tamá-Tamá), 150 m alt., occasional epiphyte, flowers Avhite and faintly green-tinged, June 23, 1959, J.
