Distribution and Ecology - VENEZUELA. Amazonas: Serrania Parú, Rio Parú, Caño Asisa, Río Ventuari, along Caño Asisa, about 3 km below Parú Savanna Camp, 200 m alt., epiphytic, "fls. dimorphic?; one scape with lip yellow-brown and tepals brown; other scape with tepals brown and lip sac light brown speckled with dark brown (both scapes apparently on same plant)," February 17, 1951, R. S. Cowan & J. J. Wurdack 31524. COLOMBIA (type).
