Description
Distribution and Ecology - COLOMBIA. Vaupes: Rio Kananari, Cerro Isibukuri, piedra de arenisca, 250 to about 750 m alt., epiphyte, spike green, flowers green-yellow, lip white with deep purple tip, August 4, 1951, R. E. Schultes & I. Cabrera 13366. VENEZUELA. Amazonas: Rio Ventuari, not far above Las Carmelitas, about 120 m alt., on edge of rather dense but not tall forest, G. C. A. Dunsterville 750. Also along the Amazon River (type of G. Stangeana) and PERU (type of G. pubicentrum).
