Distribution and Ecology - VENEZUELA. Amazonas: along Rio Atabapo between Manacal and Guarinumo, 125 m alt., occasional epiphyte, "tepals externally dull red-brown, internally olive; lip white, longitudinally rose-streaked," June 12, 1959, J. J. Wurdack & L. S. Adderley 42998; along Caño Tama-Tama (a black water caño on right bank of Rio Orinoco just above Tamd-Tama), 150 m alt., occasional epiphyte, "tepals old gold; lip basally old gold, apically white, the central lobe rosestreaked," June 23, 1959, Wurdack & Adderley 43155 (type).
