Description:Distribution and Ecology - VENEZUELA. Bolivar: between last camp and summit of Cerro Venamo, about 1290 m alt., on tree beside small stream (Steyermark 92574) G. C. K. Dunsterville 846, as E. imbricatum; bosque enano achaparrado sobre el hombrillo superior y la cumbre arriba de la ladera escarpada de arenisca, 1400 m alt., epiphyte on small tree along stream, stem dull purple, leaves distichous, ascending, coriaceous, 10—12 m m wide, flower pale green often suffused with pale lavenderbuff, column cream-white at tip, January 2, 1964, Steyermark ir Dunsterville 92574. The type of E. imbricatum was from BRAZIL.
