    Distribution and Ecology - VENEZUELA. Bolivar: Chimanta Massif, above southeast-facing upper shoulder on slope leading to summit of Apacara-tepui, 2200-2300 m alt., in upper mixed Clusia-Magnolia forest, epiphyte on Magnoha, stem dull purple, leaves coriaceous, rich green above and paler and dull beneath, rachis pale green, pedicels curved, lavender, sepals pale lavender, membranaceous, petals pale lavender edged with fulvous-yellow, lip thicker and striate, pale fulvous-yellow, column white, June 20, 1953, J. A. Steyermark 75836. PERU (type of E. Lechleri and E. nephroglossum) and BOLIVIA (type of E. Evelynae).
