Roraima, summit, October 1884-January 1885, Im Thurn 299 (type) ; same locality, McConnell ir Quelch 697; same locality, 50 ft below summit of Peak 7, 2160 m alt., terrestrial, flowers small, greenish-yellow, August 1928-April 1929, G. H. H. Tate 667; same locality, on southwest portion of sandstone ledge just below summit, from the beginning of summit vegetation to summit, 2560-2620 m alt., terrestrial, stem deep wine-purple, leaves coriaceous, dark green above and dull beneath, sepals tinged with buff or brownish without, sepals (within), petals and lip dorsal greenish yellow, September 27, 1944, J. A. Steyermark 58797. Amazonas: Cerro de la Neblina, Rio Yatua, Upper Cation Grande basin above Salto Grande, 1900-2000 m alt., on branch of shrub, flowers greenish white, December 13, 1957, B.
