Bolivar: Rio Chicandn, Cordillera Epicara, on southeast escarpment of Cerro Piton, bordering Quebrada Tasita, 400 m alt., in swampy savanna thickets, frequent, leaves rigid, stems erect, rigid, sepals tan spotted with maroon, lip yellow-green spotted with maroon, September 5, 1962, B. & C. K. Maguire ir J. A. Steyermark 53645. Amazonas: Cerro Sipapo (Paraque), 125-200 m alt., between Base Camp and open scrub savanna 3 km southwest of Base Camp, February 8, 1949, B. Maguire & L. Politi 28809 (type of E. rectopedunculatum).
