Description:Distribution and Ecology - VENEZUELA. Bolivar: Auydn-tepui, Rio Churiin, Camp "Drago," Pannier ir Schwabe 1915; 105-118 km from El Dorado, near Sta. Elena, E. Foldats 2829; Ptari-tepui, Salto de Iwara-carii-merii, at western end of Sororopdn-tepui, 1615 m alt., epiphyte on tree trunk along stream above waterfall, leaves coriaceous, dark green above and dull beneath, flowers greenish, bracts pale grass-green, November 15, 1944, J. A. Steyermark 60223; Uaipdn-tepui, January 25, 1948, K. D. Phelps ir C. B. Hitchcock s.n. (sterile) ; Chimantd Massif, northwestern part of Abdcapatepui, 1210-1600 m alt., in wet mossy forest with sandstone boulders, between Camp 3 and main line of sandstone bluffs, epiphyte on tree trunk, leaves erect, coriaceous, deep green above and paler beneath, flowers coriaceous, green with lip erect, April 17, 1953, Steyermark 75081; same locality, at base of west-facing sandstone bluffs of Chimantd-tepui (Torono-tepui), 1700 m alt., in vicinity of Bluff Camp, on tree, leaves coriaceous, flowers and bracts green, June 2-4, 1953, Steyermark 75636; same locality, locally frequent on exposed rocks along Rio Tirica below Summit Camp, 1925 m alt., flowers erect and appressed to axis of inflorescence, sepals and petals greenish yellow, lip erect, olive, sulcate through the middle, column olive with yellow-green at the base, February 27, 1955, J.
