Distribution and Ecology - VENEZUELA. Bolivar: Chimantd Massif, northwestern part of Abdcapatepui, 1300 m alt., on forested slopes adjacent to quebrada, vicinity of Camp 3, on tree trunk, leaves plano-convex or subterete, purplish with green, petiole purple, flowers pale green and lavender, April 20, 1953, J. A. Steyermark 75181 (type); La Escalera, 100 km south of El Dorado, G. C. K. Dunsterville 476; Auydntepui, Rio Churiin, epiphyte in woods. Camp "Drago," Pannier ir Schwabe 1887A, fide Foldats.
