Chodikar Landing, about 210 m alt., small plant, stems 1/2 to 1 inch high, flower solitary, axillary, purple, October 17, 1952, Forestry Department Field N o . G-442, Record No. 7457. VENEZUELA. Bolivar: Rio Uiriyuk, 10-15 km below Cerro Escalera, about 100 m alt., epiphyte on tree trunk in rixerine woodland, leaves pale green to purple beneath, flowers purple, August 17, 1962, B. & C. K. Maguire & J. A. Steyermark 46768; Rio Chicanan, on summit of north portion of Cerro Uroi, on living tree trunk, leaves fleshy sulcate-nerved above, purple, flowers purplish, September 12, 1962, Maguire ir Steyermark 53755. SURINAM. The type of Specklinia orbicularis was from BRITISH GUIANA.
