Bolivar: Ptari-tepui, between "Cave Rock" and base of high sandstone bluffs, 2100-2285 m alt., terrestrial on densely forested, steep, southfacing slopes overlying sandstone, October 30, 1944, J. A. Steyermark 59550; Mt. Roraima and vicinity, in humid, temperate forest of upper slopes, Rondón Camp, about 2100 m alt., G. H. H. Tate 489; Km 126 south of El Dorado, about 760 m alt., in d a m p fairly tall forest, G. C. K. Dunsterville 487; Chimantd Massif, northwestern part of Abdcapa-tepui, 850-1100 m alt., on forested west-facing slope with sandstone boulders, between Camp 2 and Camp 3, epiphyte on tree trunk, leaves coriaceous, deep green above and paler beneath, flowers lavender and greenish, April 18, 1953, Steyermark 75123; Chimanta Massif, southeast portion of Apdcara-tepui, 1700-1850 m alt., on densely forested slopes between upper reaches of Rio Tirica (left-hand fork) and Riscobel Ledema Camp, epiphyte on tree trunk, leaves coriaceous, deep green with finely sulcate nerves above and dull and paler beneath, flowers pale green, June 23, 1953, Steyermark 75966; vecindades del salto en la ladera escarpada de arenisca, a lo largo del afluente del Rio Venamo, en bosque enano sobre el hombrillo superior, 1400-1450 m alt., along quebrada leading to waterfall, leaves coriaceous, shining on both sides, rich green with sulcate nerves above and paler green beneath, raceme solitary, bud pale greenish yellow with maroon at base, January 3, 1964, Steyermark & Dunsterville 92649.
