New-Arapiakru, November 30, 1897, Im Thurn 182; Bartica-Potaro road near 14th milepost, in wallaba forest, epiphytic on branches of large tree, upper sepal very narrow, dull greenish with 3 longitudinal maroonchocolate stripes, lower sepal maroon-chocolate, yellow green at tip, petals very small, dull greenish on maroon, August 17, 1937, N. Y. Sandioith 1106. VENEZUELA. Amazonas: Rio Ventuari, not far above Las Carmelitas, about 120 m alt., on edge of fairly dense but not very tall forest, G. C. K. Dunstenjille 684; Cerro Yapacana, Rio Orinoco, 125 m alt., at northwest base of mountain, epiphyte in forest, flowers yellow, December 31, 1950, B. Maguire, R. S. Cowan & J. J. Wurdack 30512.
