Maguire 33337A; Sarven-tepui, slopes and talus forest, 1200 m alt., along Rio Sarvén, 1 km downstream from Camp 9, on tree trunk 1 m above ground, flowers reddish brown, February 8, 1953, J. J. Wurdack 34344; Chimanta Massif, northwestern part of Abacapa-tepui, in vicinity of Camp 3, 1300 m alt., on forested slopes adjacent to quebrada, on tree trunk, leaves coriaceous, rich green above and green beneath, bracts purplish, flowers triangular (3-sided), light green becoming madder-purple, April 20, 1953, J.
