Description:Distribution and Ecology - VENEZUELA. Bolivar: Auyan-tepui, faldas meridionales, selva virgen hiimeda rica sobre aluviones rocosos areniscos debajo de "Danto" y arriba de Guayaraca en la escarpa inferior, 100-1480 m alt., epiphyte on tree trunk, leaves dull green above, 15-18 mm wide, flowers pale yellow. May 18, 1964, J. A. Steyermark 94147 (this collection is questionable on account of its broad leaves); same locality, cumbre de la parte norte de la seccion sur (division occidental del cerro): a lo largo del Rio Churiin, vecindad del campamento sur, 1690 m alt., in riverine forest, epiphyte 1.5-2 mm up on small tree, leaves coriaceous, pale green beneath, flowers pale yellow, Steyermark 93219; same locality, cumbre de la parte norte de la seccion sur (división occidental del cerro) : a lo largo del Rio Churiin al pie de "Second Wall" de arenisca, desde el campamento norte, 5 km hacia el noreste, 1690 m alt., in moist mossy riverine forest, epiphyte on tree branch, flowers yellow to dull yellow-brown. May 12, 1964, Steyermark 93775, 93780, 93803. Amazonas: along Rio Orinoco just above Tama-Tama, 150 m alt., epiphyte, flowers creamcolor, June 22, 1959, J. J. Wurdack & L. S. Adderley 43135.
