    Distribution and Ecology - VENEZUELA. Bolivar: Chimanta Massif, southwestern part of Apacaratepui between Camp 3 and Camp 4, 1210-1600 m alt., terrestrial on forested slopes, leaves firmly membranaceous, dull green above and paler beneath, flowers buff-white, April 15, 1953, J. A. Steyermark 75045; Chimanta Massif, Toronotepui, between Rio Tirica and slope forest, 755-1395 m alt., locally frequent terrestrial, leaves membranaceous, dull green above and paler beneath, scape dull greenish lavender above, bracts flesh-colored above and creamy beneath, sepals greenish yellow, petals and lip whitish, spur pale greenish yellow, March 6, 1955, J. A. Steyermark & J. J. Wurdack 1266; just below summit of Sierra de Lema, along small rivulet, headwaters of Rio Chicanan, 80 k m (in a straight line) to the southeast of El Dorado, lat. 6°5'N., long. 62°W., 690 m alt., terrestrial, stem dull purple, cauline bracts buff-lavender, floral bracts buff-brownish with pale green on upper (younger) ones, leaves fleshy-membranous, rich green above and silvery green beneath, corolla tube whitish and pale green, lip white with two spreading recurved lobes, August 22, 1961, J.
