Description:Distribution and Ecology - VENEZUELA. Bolivar: Chimanta Massif, along Rio Tirica (Rio Aparuren) just above Techiné-merú, 470 m alt., leaves membranous, "bronze and shining above, margins buff, below brown-lavender. Scape buff-greenish; cauline bracts stramineous with salmon above; ovary yellow-brown; spur pale greenish-yellow; 2 lateral sepals projecting forward, margins involute, buff-creamy; dorsal sepal brownish-yellow; lip recurved, white in lower half, yellow in other part, callosities on lip yellow; 2 lateral petals appressed to dorsal sepal white."
