Bolivar: Chimanta Massif, below southeast-facing upper shoulder of Apdcara-tepui (between Riscobel Ledema Camp and plateau), 1900-1950 m alt., in dense wet elfin forest formation of recumbent branches, terrestrial, leaves erect-ascending, fleshy to membranaceous, dull pale green above and silvery beneath, rachis pale green, 'sepals pale green, petals and lip pale greenish white turning buff-brown in age on sepals," June 19, 1953, J.
