    Distribution and Ecology - VENEZUELA. Bolivar: Cerro Guaiquinima, Rio Paragua, occasional near Cumbre Camp, 2000 m alt., terrestrial, few-flowered, flowers dull yellow, December 25, 1951, B. Maguire 32748; same locality, rare in bog along west escarpment rim, 1 km west of Cumbre Camp, 1800 m alt., flowers yellow, December 30, 1951, Maguire 32830, 32839A; same locality, frequent in bogs, "North Valley,'' 1600-1700 m alt., terrestrial, flower yellow with outer members bronze outside, January 4, 1952, Maguire 32973 (type) ; Auyan-tepui, summit, in boggy ground, chiefly between top of Wall and first stream on way to Drizzly Camp, about 1870 m alt., also near Drizzly Camp, about 1800 m alt., G. C. K.
