Maguire 33544-A; Ilu-tepui, Gran Sabana, in open savanna in drainage of Rio Aponguao, 1200 m alt., infrequent, flowers bright yellow, March 27-28, 1952, Maguire 33638; vicinity of Uriman, in large savanna, 300 m alt., leaves erect with incurved margins, flowers yellow, April 30, 1953, J.
