Roraima, 1200 m alt., Moritz 630b (type of H . Moritzii), Im Thurn 367; upper slopes of Roraima, McConnell & Quelch 4; Gran Sabana, in savannas bordering Rio Kukenan, between Kun and base of Mt. Roraima, 975-1065 m alt., "conok guani yariokii" (flor de agua), flowers greenish-yellow, J. A. Steyermark 58552; Ilu-tepui, Gran Sabana, near Uarupata, 1000 m alt., occasional in marshy savanna, plants wholly green, February 10, 1952, B. Maguire 33279; same locality, occasional in open savanna, in drainage of Rio Kamarang, northwest of San Rafael, 1200 m alt., flowers wholly green, March 26, 1952, Maguire 33617; same locality, occasional in savanna at Kavanayen, 1200 m alt., flowers green, March 30, 1952, Maguire 33675; occasional in moist savanna, about 4 km east of Mission Santa Teresita at Kavanayen, 1300 m alt., flowers greenish white, December 13, 1952, B.
