Omnino glabra, foliis pro genere minuscuhs, 3-7(-10) m m longis, plerumque bifariis, floribus circiter octandris.

A shrub, or vinelike, 0.3-1.5 m high; leaves on flowering branchlets mostly tworanked, the blades arcuate-recurved and one above another; calyx-lobes 1-1.5 mm long.

This form occurs on Chimanta in the same general area as Ugni myricoides f grossa, from which it is superficially very distinct. Steyermark and Wurdack noted the vegetative differences in the field.
