Monographs Details: Eugenia arivoa Aubl.
Authority: Maguire, Bassett. 1969. The botany of the Guayana Highland-part VIII. Mem. New York Bot. Gard. 18: 1-290.
Scientific Name:Eugenia arivoa Aubl.

According to Aublet's account this plant differed from his Eugenia undulata, by having the leaves thicker and less acuminate, and the fruit black. Specimens at B M , named E. arivoa, consist of sterile twigs of two different species, neither of which is recognizable. A similar conclusion was reached by Amshoff (Rec. Trav. Bot. Neerl. 42: 21. 1950).
