By lamentable oversight the staminate and pistillate collections on which this species was based were both cited as Steyermark & al 101939. Only the cotype 5 is correct; the [male] holotype should read Steyermark & al 101671. This sheet ( = NY Neg. 8604) is deposited at VEN, but a fragmentary clastotype is retained with the photograph at NY.
