    Diacidia duckeana most probably represents the common expression of a variable species which would include the types of the original D. galphimioides. Nomenclatural adjustment would better await the accumulation of sufficient material to interpret properly the amplitude of the species. Its poUen is 3-colporate, prolate sphaeroidal, ca 22 X 24 µ
