Distribution and Ecology - Venezuela and Guyana. In our specimens attributed to Guayana, infrequent. Low to medium altitude.

Specimens examined. VENEZUELA, territorio amazonas: Orinoco River, southem part of Isla del Raton, granite outcrop, ca. 90 m alt., 29 Nov 1965, Breteler 4891 (VEN). bolivar: Crystalline laja 0.5 km above mouth of Rio Pargueni, 100-150 m alt., herb 0.5-1.5 m, flowers and fmit green, frequent, 10 Dec 1955, Wurdack & Monachino 39764 (VEN).
