    Latin Diagnosis - Flores solitarii nutantes; calycibus profunde divisis, tubo brevissimo, intus collis ciliatis instructis, lobis lineari-lanceolatis, plus minusve carinatis; corollis anguste infundibuliformibus, symmetricis, tubo brevi; filamentis ad juncturam tubi cum limbo aflfixis, non exertis; antheris 4-thecatis, lanceolatis, manifeste sagittatis; pollinibus tetradibus, extus plus minusve "typo Helia"; ovarii placentus m o x profunde intrusis; stylis filamentosis, tubiformibus; stigmatibus anguste oblanceolatis, intus villulosis; capsulis bivalvis; seminibus truncato-pyramidali-prismaticis, verrucosis.
