The Brazilian collection from Amapa is in good flowering condition and matches perfectly the type material of C. micrococca. It may be noted here that the corolla is prominently lined vertically in the Brazilian specimen with a length of 14-15 mm; the corolla-lobes are 5-5.5 mm long by 2-2.5 mm broad, oblong and rounded at the apex, papillate-puberulent without especially at the apex as well as within, and conspicuously venose-reticulate; the corolla-tube is 9.5 mm long, minutely puberulent without and glabrous within.
