Description:Latin Diagnosis - Capitula parva, in cymis lateralibus dispositis, 3-5-floris, homogamis, floribus bilabiatis; involucro campanulato-cylindrico; phyllariis nonnihil gradatis, obovatis vel oblanceolatis, coriaceis, ad apicem valde barbatis; receptaculo hemisphaerico, parvo, valde hirsuto, nonalveolato; corollis par vis subraembranaceis bilabiatis, tubo cylindrico 5-nervato, limbo longiore, campanula to, lobo posteriore 4-nervato, minute tridentato, lobo anteriore profunde bifido, segmentis linearibus circinnatis 2-nervatis; antheris caudatis, appendicibus apicalibus acutiusculis, appendicibus caudalibus linearibus, integris, liberis; granis pollini luteis, tricolporatis, sulcis longiacutis; granis sphaeroideis, spinulosis, axihvif polaribus ca. 52 µ; achaeniis cylindrico-fusiformibus, aliquantulum 10 (12)- costatis; annulis prominentibus, corona perbrevi, minute 5-lobata, collare pappifero non evidenti, pappo pluriseriato (5) tortili, setis filiformibus minute barbellads; stylo filiformi laevi; ramis adscendentibus vix exsertis, dorso unilobatis, partibus stigmatibus projectis minutissimis.
