Description:Distribution and Ecology - Distribution. Confined to the high sandstone mountains of Amazonas, Venezuela, viz., the Cerros Sipapo, Paru, Huachamacari, Duida, and Neblina, and doubtfully from the Chimanta Massif, Bolivar.

Number 30619 from the same locality is this species. The collectors note that the leaves are asymmetrically arranged.
